Cape Amethyst

Cape amethysts are unique in their milky comportment. They are cut from amethyst layered or striped with milky quart, forming beautiful patterns in the stone. Usually translucent, this semiprecious stone can range in color from light purple to medium purple.

While amethyst has many properties, cape amethyst is known for relieving psychological, emotional, and physical pain or stress. Relatedly, it is thought to ease headaches and provide tension release. Many believe it can reduce bruising, injuries, and swelling and can aid in hearing--literal and in terms of understanding.
